Jobs in educatonal fields have advanced both in the public and private sectors. In the public sector, educaitonal improvements have been in focus as of late. Government stimulus should continue to fuel growth in the educational sector. On the corporate side, training and project professionals are in high demand. Increased requirements for technical aptitude, complex software programs, and a global workforce have contributed to job growth. The outlook for educational professionals is strong.

Teaching programs are usually distinct courses and a specific path. For example, English Education is its own separate major versus English as a subject. Students may choose to pursue either avenue depending on their interests. In general, private sector jobs in education tend to hire more from the educational disciplines themselves, whereas public institutions look for a formalized background in education principles and design. In addition to undergraduate and Masters level programs, educational careers tend to require state certifications and ongoing career training.
