Compensation in the human services sector is lower relative to the education required. However, strong societal need and demand should continue to create a relatively stable workforce and demand.

Undergraduate work for most careers in human services is encouraged. Although Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, and Public Policy are natural majors for students wishing to enter human services jobs, more quantitive programs can also be a good fit.
